The Judiciary is planning to establish a land court, the Hon. Chief Justice Hon. Justice Benjamin Odoki has revealed. \r\n

\r\n Hon. Justice Benjamin Odoki said the land court will help to address the multitude of land problems around the country. The Chief Justice was responding to concerns raised by leaders and residents, asking for his intervention over the numerous pending land cases and civil cases in courts.

\r\n Hon. Justice Benjamin Odoki who has been on a monitoring and evaluation tour of courts was addressing residents and local leaders in Mubende district at the Chief magistrates’ court on 04/03/2013. Hon. Justice Benjamin Odoki was accompanied by internal affairs state minister Hoh. James Baba, the Director of Public Prosecution Richard Buteera and other officials from the Judicial Service Commission and DANIDA.
